Which version of Windows are supported?
Drivers are available for all current versions of Windows
Are there Drivers avaialable for Apple Mac machines?
Not at this stage
Do I need a Duplex printer?
Generally you only need a duplex printer if you are printing double sided cards where the data on both sides is variable and must be matched
Will the printer encode magnetic stripes?
Options are available to encode both Hico and Loco magnetic stripe.
Does the printer come with any software?
Yes the printed comes bundled with free software which allows you to design and save multiple card designs. With this software you can connect to an MS Access database or to an MS Excel spreadsheet for batch printing of data including photos
Can I print barcodes?
using the supplied software you can print most commonly used types of barcodes
Can I print a card a second time?
No, cards can only be printed once. The only exception to this is if you are printing in two different colours of mono foil onto different parts of the cards.
What basic maintenance is required?
The most important operator maintenance is keeping the printer clean. Cleaning rollers are washable which saves on a lot of cost associated with other brands.
Can the printer be networked?
Yes networking options are available.
What type of cards can I print on?
the printer prints on ISO standard PVC glossy cards, either printed or unprinted.
How many prints are on the foils that I need for the printer?
Full colour foil comes in options of 200 or 250 prints, mono foils are 1000 prints and duplex foils are 167 prints.
What warranty does the printer come with?
The printer comes with a 24 month return to base warranty.
